Organization Development (OD)
Organization development (OD) is a deliberately planned effort to increasean organization's relevance and viability. OD helps an organization to become ready for the implementation of change towards continuous improvement. To ensure that the introduction of Hoshin Kanri into an organization, we pay careful attention to assessing the current values and beliefs of the organization and assess the organization's readiness to meet change. We then create a systemic learning and development strategy intended to enhance the basics of beliefs, attitudes and relevance of values, and structure of the current organization in order to better absorb Hoshin Kanri methodology.
Organization development is an ongoing, systematic process of implementing effective organizational change. Organization development is known as both a field of applied behavioral science focused on understanding and managing organizational change and as a field of scientific study and inquiry. It is interdisciplinary in nature and draws on sociology, psychology, and theories of motivation, learning, and personality.
OD provides a framework for change to take place so that desirable positive outcomes are realized. We also design interventions with application of several multidisciplinary methods and research besides traditional OD approaches.

Hoshin Kanri is a step-by-step strategic planning process. The literal translation of Hoshin Kanri can have several American meanings. "Ho" meaning method or form and "shin" meaning shining needle or compass. Kanri means management or control; a methodology for strategic direction setting.
Hoshin Kanri provides an elegant method for creating a comprehensive communication system between all levels of employees, keeping everyone focused on meeting organizational goals.
